    Hello to all,

I have received this omega watch by heritage and I have googled it to find more but I didn´t found any with this dial and shape. I think it´s an old De Ville but I really don´t know...

The watch is solid gold, vintage and very small

Can you please tell me the model and the value more or less?

Thank you very much for your help

    Rehards

    Miguel

Hi Miguel. Looks like a lady's watch. Could you push the flower button on your camera to put it in macro mode? This will allow better focus on close-up shots.

To properly identify it, we need to see the insides. Clear pictures of the movement and inside of the caseback are imperative for identification. We'll be able to tell you the year it was made and some more data from those photos.

If I were betting on it, I'd wager it's a caliber 62x manual wind from the 60's.

Okay, so it's a caliber 245 from 1960 inside a case reference 2683. Looks good to me. Unfortunately it isn't worth much more than the value of the gold because there isn't much interest in lady's watches. Nice heirloom though.

BTW, the bracelet is not Omega and was likely added by the jeweler which sold the watch originally.

The guy from the gold shop gives me 450€ for it. Do you think it´s a good price?

    Regards

"A good price" for this watch is totally dependent on gold weight and fineness in the case (18K) and bracelet (unknown). It is unlikely to have value over and above scrap.

That's the way it is with vintage ladies' watches.

    Collectors usually aren't interested.
