    Came across this watch in a box of old watchbands that were given to me. Looks like it has had a tough life, but might be worth having it reconditioned? Please help.

    Welcome ! Nice try, but the red needle tooks like new, what do you think ?

    It’s a 2451-2 (see caseback), dating to roughly 1945 based on the serial. Definitely worth cleaning up and fixing imo. Looks like it will clean up nicely.
