Please post pics not just links, otherwise the thread is useless in the future.

I have little experience of the watches you're looking at as they have little interest to most collectors, but I think you can get something similar for half the price.

Since you would be the one to wear it, our opinion doesn't really count. What appeals to you about these watches?

I kinda like both, hence asking if aside from looks, are either of these models more desirable to Omega experts on here?

I've been offered these at prices of approx 25% lower than the adverts, but would certainly love to know where else I should be looking apart from ebay as I'm already searching on there.

Well quartz watches dont get much love around these parts

We ( generally speaking) prefer automatic or manual wind watches

Most Omega experts on this forum prefer mechanical watches over quartz watches, so I am unsure you'll get a good opinion here. If you're looking for the convenience of a quartz watch and are limited on budget, I'd encourage you to buy a new quartz watch from Seiko, Timex, or any number of brands.

However, if you're interested in a vintage watch and limited on budget - aren't we all? - then I would encourage you to spend time learning about what to look for in a vintage watch before you buy one. Have you seen these threads?

A poor mans rolex datejust, if you like, but still great value - there are bargains still out there
