    Hi Gents,

I recently purchased my first Omega, a midsize Planet Ocean, ref. 232.30.38.20.01.001. I am having an issue winding the watch. After I unscrew the crown to the first position and begin to wind, the crown screws back in. I took the watch to my local Omega Boutique and the rep told me the retailer (Jomashop) should take a look at it. Any ideas as to what could be wrong, or should I just send the watch back for a replacement/repair? Please help!

Jomashop sells watches without the factory warranty, offering their own warranty instead. Omega can fix your watch, but you'll pay for it. JS should make the repairs without charging you, as per the terms of their warranty.

Likely the stem is cut just a bit too short. Easily fixed...

I am based in Australia and just wondering about purchasing from Jomashop. Is it legit? How do they sell without the Omega warranty if the watch is brand new?

    Thanks

Easy. Authorized dealers are given an alottment every year of watches to sell. The ones they can’t sell they offload to grey market dealers who can sell them for less then the jewlers can or want to publicly sell.

With the different case sizes of PO's, do you know if they come with different crown sizes? Im trying to find a replacement crown for my PO 8500 45.5mm I'm just wondering if I should be careful if there are different sizes for the different diameter cases.
