I have searched the forum before I posted this question.

What year did Omega start putting a Ceramic Bezel on the PO? Reason is I ask is do to thickness I want the older movement with a ceramic bezel on a used PO. Was this something that was ever offered by Omega?

    Thanks,

    Neal

The last 2500’s had an LE ceramic. POLME Planet Ocean liquid metal edition

Only thinner ones with ceramic. The 2nd generation had 8500 movements are thicker.

Correct on the LE 2500. Was that 2011-2012?

They are super hard to find and expensive. I believe they go for 6000-7k. Might be more now.

You can get an 8500 PO for 3200-3500.

I thought I saw a PO LMLE pop up in the private sales here about a month or so back?

[edit- now not in bold for no reason]

    Limited Edition.
So you will see the *2500C Liquid Metal Planet Ocean frequently referred to by PO LMLE

Also if on hunt for one, check the Private sales here, there is one floating around in there.

I’m kind of on the same bit as you I have the 2500 and the 8500. The orange bezel on the 2500 isn’t as bright and colorful as the one on the 8500. Honestly it seems very dull for the orange color.
