Hello all!

I placed an order a while back for the new Planet Ocean Big Blue that was supposed to arrive this month (October), but am now being told December by my local Omega Boutique.

Anyone have any better info on why the date for this watch keeps getting pushed back? Or, am I getting the run around after leaving a large chunck of money with the AD?

I was lucky enough to see this one in person during one of the basel carnet events. It's just like every other basel release this year and being severely delayed.

 

Is this type of delay normal for Omega? Or is something going on this year?

 

I think it’s pretty normal for the Basel releases. At least from what I have seen the last 5 years of Basel world releases.

 

That watch is wild! I would need to see it in person.

 

Got a call on Monday from my local Omega Boutique saying that they were now expecting my watch that I put a deposit on months ago would be in within the next “couple” days. So, as it’s been 2 days, I’m guessing tomorrow is the day??!! They mentioned that although they were told the watch had been delayed, anyone with a deposit was not being shipped...

I can’t wait to see this beauty!!! I haven’t been this excited about a new release in a while, so I’ll be sure to post some picks ASAP!

It arrived!!!!!!! They mentioned it’s only the second one that was shipped to the US! Feeling special, even if I was told a little white lie!!!

I saw this in London today, really nice watch perfectly balanced! Light, sporty and comfy!! Love it!
