Planet Ocean 2500c has 2014 warranty card?

How does this come about? NOS, I am assuming?

I can think of two reasons.

1. The watch sat for years in the AD before it was finally sold. If I recall, the second gen without the 2500* movement came out in 2011-2012. So it’s possible people were buying the new version and not the older one until the AD discounted it enough for a buyer.

2. it was sold with an undated warranty card (lots of ADs used to do this) and someone added the date later.

Yep, makes sense, Donn. 👍 I confused myself for a bit, thinking that the PO was fitted with the 2500D from late 2000 to 2011. ::facepalm1::
