Place your bets! Nearest to the final price gets to have "ΩF clairvoyant" as their avatar message (provided Trev and Ashely are okay with it). Maybe we'll start a new thread for this - whaddaya say? My entry is $3275.

Lack of movement pics and other shoddy pics might hurt value, but the masses are the masses...

$3720. Are we playing Price Is Right rules? :p

Interesting to see where this goes. It was a mere 2-3 years ago when these watches were readily available for $1500 and less. As nice as these watches are, the earlier SM300s with straight lugs and thin bezel (especially if the bezel is the intact original) are harder to locate and IMO even more valuable.

You're right, they are much harder to find in nice condition, but they often seem to sell for less than the equivalent condition 165/166.024. The early ones can be a bit of a bargain sometimes.

My guess is $3100. Would be more if it had the right bracelet. Very nice patina though.

I think that's a temporary condition - eventually, the earlier examples (and in this case much harder to find in original condition examples) will climb in value. Happened with speedmaster and railmaster and with the rolex sports watches (submariner etc.) no reason to think this will be much different. The later examples are just much more plentiful.
