    Hi Guys,
Need your thought whether this is a redial?
I think it is as it seem to be missing someone the minutes marker (the little black line) at 6,11,12 and the line and the marker at 9 are not align, the word constellations also look at bit thick. That is my attempt to analyse the dial :) please let me know your thought.

    Cheers

Looks original to me But it was cleaned by some strong solvent, I guess.
The hour markers are also a bit long and may not be original to this dial.

+1 I will say it is original dial. The hour markers are the ones looks suspicious.

It's printed with a T, but no lume anywhere. Just forget about it.

Thank you guys for the feedback.
Just for education, does it normal that some of the minutes markers are missing? I saw some examples without minute marks at 6,9,12 and some with minute marks at all those positions, but this one has no minute marker at 6 but it seem to have them at 9 and 12 ( look shorter than usual). Also the length of the markers seem to be vary.

Yeah, not a good example, even if the dial is right.

That back looks like a melted ice cube.

    You can do better.

By the way, melted ice cube...you guys really have some good names for watch parts... Should have a thread showing the samples and their names 555 :)

    Yes. On the 18k dials of this model the minute markers all missing at 12 5 10 15 20 25 30 etc...minutes.

    2015-03-28_07-45-36.jpg

But on a lumed dial all the minute markers should be there.
    2015-03-28_07-25-53.jpg

When the clear coat turned bad people like to clean the dial with their magic solvent and that's why you see some markers are missing.
In the process all the hour markers are removed and people love to swap them from a dial of a different dial like this one.
    2015-03-28_07-24-32.jpg
That's why the hour markers look a bit long and you may ask why they changed the markers because to some collectors (in some countries) they prefer onyx markers to lumed.

Hoi, I think the long onyx batons just cover those printed markers on the gold dials. Can you take a closer look underneath those batons?
This dial appears to show those printed markers:

Incidentally, this watch also has the cal. 564 with serial 26mil. Will you change your mind about onyx and cal. 564? Or your opinion only applies to the steel watches?

    Is it a French case?
By looking at the center of the rotor I don't think it is an original 564 for a 168.006 ref.

    Here is a pie-pan 18k dial on a 168.014 Constellation.

The minute markers are visible although partially covered by the index.

It's a Swiss case 168.005/6 SP. More likely just the rotor was replaced rather than the whole movement. But even if it comes with the original paperwork, it could still be argued that the dial was replaced, not original. ;)

014 has slightly different pie-pan style and a bit larger.

Have you ever trimmed the rim of a dial?
