Hi I have posted here a few times already, but I haven't said hi yet, so here I am. Go myselves a nice pie pan a few days ago. Pretty chuffed with it. A few specs on the dial, and the case looks pretty unpolished. Case ref 14393-61. The 561 movement looks pretty clean as well: I have a few other Omega as well mostly hummers, will post more later if anyone's interested in "newer" stuff. I have a question though; what crown did this originally come with, the ten sided, unobtainable one? cheers, Ketil
Very nice! The correct crown could be the ten sided or this... Mine is a 14381 with a 551 movement and not much earlier serial number...some more knowing member will chime in with the correct information.
Nice dial! Crown should be the ten-sider, or for some US examples where OXG is stamped on the movement the bowler hat crown was sometimes used. Cheers Desmond
Thanks Hijak and Desmond. Where do you normally get a ten sided crown, ebay? I guess this one should be correct: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Omega-pla...451?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item53efa26b23Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network Whether it's genuine or not is hard to tell.
Very nice, I think I need to get one like this too at some point...SS, 18k/SS or 18k, that is the question ;-)
