Am I seeing things or is this a pie-pun.......no clear faceted edge or faces. I think it is two shades of black to make it look like a pie-pan. Also, the minute track is far away from the edge

Actually I think the dial might be a pie-pan. To me the appllied hour markers look angled. Too bad it looks like shit even though it is a fair attempt of a refinish.

 

I'd say that it is a pie pan judging by the way the light is hitting the edges between the four and five, and the eight and nine markers.

 

To be slightly fair to the seller, his description contains "Stunning original Omega Pie Pan Constellation Chronometer men's watch with date. 35mm stainless steel case is in outstanding condition! High quality restoration on original pie pan dial in black has applied silver baton hour markers and new Swiss made silver dagger hands."

How he squares "original" with "restoration" and "new Swiss made silver dagger hands" I leave to others to work out, but at least the dial refinish is disclosed.

 

And the non-genuine hands are also disclosed...
