Correct me if wrong Andy but the bracelet photo is separate to the watch photos? The bracelet is obviously a 1039 but the one on the watch is a later bracelet.

Pics are fine mate, they show what we need to see and you've photographed the parts that show your watch to be what it is. Looks in good nick mate.

An 1171/1. It's a later replacement of the 1171. My watch would have come with a 1039, hence my interest in yours ;)

Which brings to mind a question I have. My 1967 321 has a stamped dated 1039 bracelet
with month and year. I have seen other 1039 bracelets on ebay that don't have the
stamped date month and year. Can someone break this down for me. Are the
dateless ones service replacements? Did all Speedmaster bracelets come dated?
Where do the Non-dated ones fit in?

That I would not know, but I'm sure one of the experts on this forum can answer that for you.

Some original stretch bracelets were not date stamped though the majority of them were. The earlier the bracelet the less likely the date stamp was present (at least in my experience - have seen several 7077 bracelets that were undated).

Now that's a lovely Speedy with such a beautiful stepped dial, AL and creamy trit. Yummy!

I see no rhyme or reason in it. Some are dated, others aren't. What is sure, however and to answer your question, is having no date doesn't necessarily mean it's a replacement.
