i picked up a 2531.80 Seamaster blue dial just like Pierce Brosnan Bond. I have to say after growing up wanting one and now finally getting it I have been very impressed. I am mainly a Rolex guy and vintage Speedmaster but I have to say this thing is awesome. Easily the best value out there for a sports watch. Also a lot of flack about the bracelet but it’s very comfortable and I like the styling. What’s anyone else think?

Congrats on the Bond. I have the newer version, but similar bracelet which was one of the reasons I went with the Seamaster over other models. Enjoy.

Very nice, all you need now is Xenia Onatopp and of course the small matter of a DB5.

Nice one. The older ones become yellow tritium markers. Yours seem to be with SL and the dial is pretty nice.

I honestly find the bond SMP quite charismatic, it has a certain charm to it that you just can't replace; even with the newest SMP.

Maybe it's because it's connected to 007 but I'm definitely sure it's more than that..

A true divers watch, wear it in the very best of health!

Nice clean looking example you have there, congrats. I’m on the lookout for one just as clean & yours appears to be the later SL dial.

Looks good, I had the GMT version in past. Still wish I had it.

I've not been without one (various versions) since 2003.

Thanks all! Yes it is a SL version, not the earlier tritium. Was lucky to get a pretty decent condition and full set for a good price. I also have a sub and am continually shocked how the Omega takes a lot of wrist time away from my Sub! They really are great. One question has anyone ever had their bracelet polished? Are local watchmakers able to get them back to factory original finishes?

Yes. Bring it back to original condition is no problem for a watch maker. But it takes some time.

I have this on it's way to me. Not a Bond, but will have great memories and sentimental value to me.
