Picked up the new BLNR yesterday.

 

Would it not have been easier to just swap the bracelet?

Release date was 1st May I believe.

 

One thing that I have noticed is that the hands are longer on the new BLNR.

 

With all my due respect ... what’s the point ?

 

In what regards? Purpose of the watch, difference of this model vs previous, price, other?

Also - anyone see this in the States yet? I know the honorable Lee Flowers (Lucky Lee given his recent acquisition ) is in the UK, just wondering if any of us state side have heard anything.

I was just playing around with the online configurations and noticed something odd. If you jump between the blue and two-tone bezels the hour digits look off center at 8 and 12. Is there a difference between the old and the new too?

 

All of them or just the minute and hour hands?

 

I'm guessing it would be an issue with the website images and not a change in the real life.

Nice pick up. I'm still undecided on the jubilee vs oyster bracelet on the BLNR, but do think it's perfect for the Pepsi. Also, the blue and red colors in my 2019 Pepsi GMT appear darker than yours, and even the blue in your BLNR is darker than your Pepsi. Does it look like that in real life?

 

I know Rolex can do what they want, it is their product and all that... but why the f#%k do they need some models to be available with only one type of bracelet. What is the reason for this? Is there some obvious answer besides that they can?

It’s like Mercedes saying: “you can get the E-series in red but then you can only get the brown interior and you can’t have a boot and if you choose the blue you can have the black interior and a boot but can’t have the cellphone charger”
