I understand that there is the older style mesh with the seatbelt looking buckle and the newer one that came with Proplof. Is there a significant price difference between the two types? Thanks for any pictures and comments!

You have to get used to the seat belt style clasp, but I actually like it. I would go for the old style. I also like it better where it is attached to the spring bars.

 

I was just about to point out the same thing as I prefer the older version without the spring bar "tubes." Also, while the new clasp looks more advanced in operation it also looks prohibitively bulkier. The Planet Ocean is already a very heavy piece, so adding bulk in the form of a clasp might be overkill.
Saying that I've yet to try on the new clasp and mesh band, so maybe my initial points of contention will fade after having some one on one time........
