    Piaget has some nice workmanship. But I would sooner dish out more money for a Patek.

    Not that it justifies anything, but they aren't alone in biting the Nautilus look. From memory, Glaschutte Original, Jean Richard, and Burberry have all done so recently. What's surprising to me is the sheer volume of press and marketing surrounding this watch. I've seen more articles on Piaget this week than in the past 10 years.

    One of the many reasons to like vintage Certina is that no one would have been confused about the target gender of their watches!

    I think it looks androgynous. Maybe it's confused.

    Not a new phenomenon though, there are plenty of examples of very similar designs from different watch companies. Quite a few tissot watches that are similar to Omega watches and the Omega TC1 watch is almost identical to the pulsar led watch and they even have the same movement that was actually developed by Pulsar.

    It's a mix between a Nautilus and Aquanaut. And I think it looks feminine because of how sloped the lugs are.

    It never fails. ::facepalm2:: :rolleyes:

    .....and thank you for perfect illustrating why I bust balls in every Speedmaster thread with the same repetitive lines. I learned it from you Speedmaster guys. :D

    In Switzerland, stainless steel is a precious metal.

    The only Piaget I would buy now is their super slim dress watches.

    Their Altiplano series is fantastic. The grandaddy of that line (a 1961 9P) is happily residing in my watchbox.

    The P900 is super cool, and the Altiplano Chronograph is really elegant.

    I said this to @Robert-Jan a week or so ago, people expect Piaget to do better, they're a great brand with great designs, there's a basic expectation that they put in more effort rather than just Invicta'ing a Patek. Its 2016, they should just know better than to pull this sort of nonsense.

    Make it up to us with an even cooler new Altiplano or something Piaget.
