Uncle Buck if you're close to St. Charles, Watch, Clock and Jewelry Repair is a good place for watch repair. Here is the link.

The only picture I can come up with in a moment’s notice, is this one, taken from the north hill, looking south west, at 7:00 am, looking over the downtown section of the city where I live. Calgary, Alberta, Canada. In the foreground is the Centre Street bridge built with private money, by a plutocrat who lived on the north side of the Bow River (pictured), when he got tired of the archaic river crossing he’d been obliged to use. This was circa 1928, and IIRC, the cost was $1,000,000.00, plus or minus. Calgary is a city of about 1.3 million people, just a stone’s throw east of the Rocky Mountains.

Now in Seoul Korea. Sorta frowned upon to be camera-ing here though. :( No nice pics yet.

Open to all branches of the military, many residents are students at the various colleges of arms. I lived there for three years, what a place! 4 degrees celcius in the kitchen during winter, no bath, shared toilet with the other aparment in the building, chronic draft through ancient windows and doors, tourists blocking your front door... For an old romantic like me it was heaven :)

    I attended college here:

Spent a lot of time in NYC in the 90’s …usually stayed around, 40th & Lexington …and usually lunched at WTC 2

    Very happy days…

Ummm...they didn’t comment on it...which sort of bummed me out...since I’ve owned it for almost 32 years [I purchased it new in 1987].

    Insert frowny face emoji here.
