I couldn’t find a thread with photos of where people live. Not exact places of course but our home cities, home towns, surroundings. I live in Copenhagen, Denmark and spent a lot of time during the weekends just walking through the city (usually with a stroller while my youngest if napping), visiting playgrounds, drinking espresso on a café watching people go by etc. I like CPH very much, it is one of the nicest cities I know. You just feel at home. Large enough to be a real city with tons of things to do but small enough that you don’t get “lost”. Here are some photos from my walk today and some previous days. Please share yours The New Theatre Walking along “The lakes” in Copenhagen One of “the lakes” Cotardo at favourite café Danish Parliament Favourite café from outside Part of old Copenhagen, which was called New Copenhagen when it was first established in the 17th century “Nyboder” from the 17th century made for sailors from the Danish navy. Still owned by the government and home for military families (only navy I believe) The lovely garden of The Royal Horticultural Society And the one I wore today: Anyway that was some photos. Would like to see some from where you all live
So punk, you wanna know where I live. Ask y'self how many swings I got left in this here club. Do you feel lucky? Well do ya punk?
Thanks, my brother! I do love this place, my big problems are skunks, coons and groundhogs but we have bears, mountain lions and armadillos moving this way.
Beautiful, Larry! Not sure where Glencoe is but my Grandkids visited Loyola on the north shore and it was spectacular. Your shot takes me back.
You lucky bastards. The animals I have to deal with have two legs. Around work we have the end of life meth and heroin population. Around home is ok, just the occasional street trolls checking for unlocked cars. Guess I should mention, metro Phoenix Arizona area Sometime I forget we live in a resort town. Guess I am lucky. Wife's relatives visited and stayed at a resort. We went to visit at the resort and I came to the conclusion my back yard is just like this but the drinks are not $15
The drinks cost more than $15 here! View from the roof of my building in the East Village. Sorry for grainy quality...low light, obviously.
Really do not want to turn this thread about beautiful places into a political statement but I'm quite proud of what the people in my city did this weekend
Very nice. My pic was of my current home in NYC, but Lancashire is where I’m from, and always my real home
