    A few day,s back I asked if someone would buy this. 1 sellers photo. Today the postman delivered the watch. The watch is even nicer and had the original buckle on the broken strap. It has the ref. 2797-2 and the hoped for cal.283 inside. Just needs a new glass because it has a little crack at 6 o,clock. Hope you like it.

    Nice one ::love::

    I'd put a tiny drop of penetrant oil on the ends of the spring bars and let it sit for a few days before trying to remove them.

    You'll probably have to cut them out but the penetrant may stop the tips breaking of in the lugs.

    And don't use side cutters/diagonal cutters/bolt cutters to do it, they'll force the cut sideways and push the tips into the holes even harder.
    Use a shearing cutter, or a very fine hacksaw blade on "gentle".
    If you're a gun, you can go the dremel cutting wheel as well.

    And of course I assume you know to tape the watch up to stop collateral damage.

    Don't you!:D
