Wow, that's pretty surprising. I've had my FOIS for a number of years, mine is #11

I saw a FOIS at an OB in Melbourne yesterday and it was no. 5337. Must have had it for awhile although it looked fresh. I'm not sure why Omega goes this route re. numbering for a non limited edition. Would seem to be counter productive.

Sure is. Just over. When I picked it up a couple of weeks ago my AD had one in the 10’s and the one I bought. I had one about 18 months ago which I regretted letting go of which was in the 5’s.

Really detailed review. Thanks for taking the time to pull this together. I'm tossing up between a FOIS and a Professional so this has been a great resource.

    Ultimately, the answer is both.

love mine. Honestly my only complaint is the implementation of the domed sapphire. They could have done a better job preventing the ring around the dial.

Please keep this in mind potential buyers of a FOIS, size is pretty much the same as a Pro. I have a 6,5 inch wrist and the Pro looks great (if I may say so myself).

I have both and the FOIS definitely feels more compact (which is a good thing in my eyes).

I agree in that the FOIS feels smaller to wear. It’s also dressier is that’s your preference, due to the alpha hands and straight lungs.

Awesome review. My only complaint, and I'm sure others have voiced their opinions, is that the small counter hands do not match.
    Otherwise, it is a beaut.

My big complaint was the strap was too short and I didn't like the strap taper.

    I switched the strap to
    1. first the Speedy Racing bracelet (looked nice in pictures but didn't quite match with the watch in terms of looks)
    2. Speedy Racing rubber strap and deployant buckle (I liked this look and will probably switch back at some point)
    2. to now the US1171 bracelet (matches pretty well with the watch). I also have the US flat link bracelet but haven't put it on yet.

Did you take a picture to show? Also consider a leather NATO strap or maybe the Omega velcro NASA strap... might look good.

No pictures of the racing bracelet but have a picture of the rubber strap and US1171.
