Hey I don't need "training wheels" on my bows mate! ;) Although I did shoot Hoyt recurve bows for most of my competitive career. Had my best result with the Avalon Plus model...

And yes I love my opals...I wear one of several I have collected over the years in my ear every day...this was the last one I had made into a stud:

That Andamooka is a nice one and massive! I like that they haven't treated it as most are. I've been to nearby Coober Pedy once and of course Lightning Ridge a couple of times, but never made it to Andamooka. I am really a black opal guy at heart though...not mine, but I wish it was...

For a pen I am still using the coffee bean pen my brother in law made me...

He is making me another one out of some bird's eye maple stock I gave him from a leftover woodworking project. My Mont Blanc and Visconti sit in a drawer most of the time these days...

Thanks for thinking of my birthday though guys, even though it's not for a while yet!

    Cheers, Al
