Results of today's hunt. Pretty sure it's all original...., tropical, neglected, dirty, possibly never serviced and doesn't run. Dropped it off at the spa to be lovingly brought back to life. This was a nice pickup.

Except for the movement which we don't see yet, this looks like a great pickup. Congrats!!

You found this in a pawn shop? I thought all you could find in Pawn were diamond rolexes and wise guy watches. Wow.

Closer look at the movement. #2607xxxx. And the dirty, but original, pushers.

The shop also had a nice selection of very big knives and guitars.

A pawn shop Speedmaster that doesn't have a meteor bezel? Nuh-uh, I don't believe it!

Owner probably defaulted on a $50 loan or something to the shop

Pawn shops have this super secret pricing tool call the......... Internet.
They not know everything about vintage watches but they know enough.

Did the pawn shop know what they had? I guess once they see Omega/rolex etc they look into it further with reference numbers to gauge a value.
