Patina Alert! My first (?) vintage Omega Geneve cal 266

    Just received this one. The patina and color change done to the dial over the years really speaks to me.
    I will let the pictures do the rest of the talking.

    I'm with the other guy. That's not "patina", that's damage.

    Strikingly attractive damage, though, if it looks as good in person.

    IMO the watch looks even better in person. The copper color of the dial base plate shines through and reflects the light in a very attractive way.
    The photos was only taken with a pucka iPhone5 camera. Need to get my DSLR and photo gear rigged. Something for the winter to come.

    This one sold on ebay today.. seller says it's a unique starburst dial..

    That's patina IMO. Beautiful patina. As in natural aging.

    Damage is something done by man hand, and not by Father Time himself
