Back in August, @watchknut kindly sold me his lovely drawer find Seamaster 200 166.091 and through a rather circuitous route, it made it here to the UK... where I had it in hand for about a week before dropping off with Simon at STS. Today I picked it up! It's had a full service, clean, new crown, seals, and crystal. Man alive this is a handsome tool watch.
This is the reason that I now prefer to sell all of my watches on OF, so we can keep them in the family...so much fun to see others enjoy them. So many times watches are sold blindly and disappear forever.
Now, that's a real diver's tool watch! made without any precious metals, no chronograph functions and solidly built! (and it may help you from adding extra lead weights while diving) Enjoy!
I used to think those cases were clunky and would be uncomfortable for sure...... until I tried a few just like that and a Flightmaster with a similar shape. Now I know I was wrong. NFW.
Here's Matt's FS thread: https://omegaforums.net/threads/omega-seamaster-200-166-091-drawer-find-mint-with-box.44397/ His pictures are a lot better than my hasty phone shots. Cosmetically it's just been cleaned and had a new crown/crystal... so not much to see.
