The 18k calatrava is nice Kris but I really would prefer a steel Nautilus. A newer model of course. You have a few weeks before I celebrate my big day............so get moving!:)

Just my thoughts: It's very small only 32mm. Additionally I didn't see the Geneva Seal on the movement. It's still a Patek but no Geneva Seal says it's not one of their best Manual movements. This Cal. 215 is one of their best. Please note the Geneva Seal.

Very interesting. I think I need to do some reading before I buy.

Enamel dials are desirable, soft enamel is when enamel apply cold. Not heated in the oven.

The Patek Philippe Caliber 175 ( beats at 18,000 bps) is an ultra thin movement based on a F. Piguet ebauche movement. It was modified by PP up to its high standards. PP used it and then the Cal. 177 (higher beat frequency) for many years. I have the similar cal. 177 in my PP 3520D and have no complaints. It is a joy to wind each day; it is so smooth. Get it if you like the looks of the watch. It is a classic PP Calatrava. Good luck.

I sometime contemplate selling the collection and just wearing a Nautilus until I'm 6 ft Down.

I thought soft enamel was only used to repair dials.

That's very interesting. I've yet to see one but that doesn't mean they don't exist. Thanx for sharing.
