Minty, gorgeous, and sporty Patek Philippe Aquanaut 5066/1A-001. This one belongs to a dear friend, who would rather wear his beater than risk scratching this beauty; and besides, I think he's already hooked on another brand ! The sale includes the watch, PP 'tropical' strap (see below for more description) with hidden clasp, fitted to a 7.3 inch wrist, PP leather pouch for papers, and certificate of authenticity. Excellent condition. Quite clean and new-looking. But let's get picky: using a loop, I was able to find a very small ding on the case edge that was too small to catch in a photo. Perhaps I can try again with a later photo. I couldn't see it with the naked eye until I located it's position. On the case-back, there's an area of a cluster of very small dings, and there's a very superficial scratch on the bezel at 4pm. The clasp also has a very superficial, heavily photo-amplified blemish. Can't see this one at all, except at one specific angle (the one in the photo) This watch has the gorgeous, highly regarded PP 330SC automatic movement. No service history; keeping ~-15 to -20 sec/day. I recommend a movement service very soon. Some specifications: Case: Stainless Steel. Width: 36 mm (10 to 4 o'clock) Length: 41 mm Thickness: 9 mm Lug width: 19 mm See-through case-back: Sapphire Depth rating: 120m. The depth rating is unique, because it is the first time an exhibition case-back watch is rated to this depth. About the Strap from PP: the Tropical Rubber material used is a composite of various materials to resist saltwater immersion, UV deterioration, and bacterial growth. It is currently sized for a 7.3 in. wrist. If your wrist is larger than this, then I'm not sure you'd be able to use this one, although this Patek looks best on medium or small wrists anyway. now ** $9250 ** preferably by bank wire or face-to-face. PayPal is fine, as long as you will pay for it, and you have a confirmed PP address. Shipping/insurance/signature included for ConUS buyers, International at cost. Absolutely no trade interest, except for a Speediorite! I have a few transactions here on ΩF, and at least two dozen happy buyers and sellers on another forum U may or may not Seek , and I will be glad to link them to you if you wish. Feel free to direct questions/offers/etc. via PM. Cheers! Doug BTW, my friend not only has great taste in watches, he's a pretty darn good photographer as well. These are his photos:
I changed the 'condition' description to a more conservative 'excellent' from 'near mint', and added sizing info to the strap description. Might there be offers?
