I'm looking for a buckle for my vintage PP 96 from '50 (Yellow Gold) and I saw this ebayer:

Who said on description "sold as is, not test for the authentication but sold as gold design buckle", I assume he well knows what is sailing for sure....
So waht is your opinion about this buckle? any tips to spot a (potentially) scam?!?

I'm not so sure about the markings on the back of this buckle.
I never buy if I'm in doubt, but that's up to you.

 

Appears legit, most companies in that era used a variety of designs for their signed buckles. If you have doubts, pass.

That is so fake first give away is that it's meant to be vintage but doesnt have Mark on it. alarm bells ....
