I'm always impressed by innovation in horology, from the 1947 Omega Tourbillon that was posted here recently, to the rather beautiful Perrelet moonphase posted by Dennis, but the folks at Panerai have really stepped it up a notch here with their PAM 216H Luminor "Sealand" limited edition by implementing a complication useful to lazy, kitchen shy men like myself.

Somehow they have managed to squeeze one of these:

    Into one of these:

In order to make... one of these...

Now I just have to raise the $12,500 odd necessary and I can have risotto on the go!

I hear you can make a great "beef stew for one" inside of them.

Still not as good as the Brooklyn Bridge LE.

They've taken the most fundamental function of a wristwatch, and gone out of their way to make it more difficult.

    Ugly, tacky, dysfunctional.
