·Hi, it’s Alberto here.
I’m new to the forum and let me introduce myself.
I like watches since I was in elementary school and I have a small collection of vintage and modern watches.
I love my Omega Seamaster 300 in titanium; it is one of the ones I wear the most.
I just received it back from service at Omega and, among the parts changed, like the barrels, they also changed the anchor (pallet lever) and a couple of rubies.
Now the question I hope someone can answer: why did they change the pallet lever and the rubies? They shouldn’t be consumed at all. I would understand more if they changed the wheel instead.
Any clue?
Thank you
