I recently picked up a great gold-plated 1098 bracelet that came without end links. Thus, I am interested in acquiring a pair of gold-plated #540 end links (19mm) so that I can mate that 1098 bracelet with a sparkle dial Seamaster Ref 166.032.

I've been looking online for awhile and haven't found any gold #540 end links for sale or trade on the usual sales platforms, so figured I'd see if anyone on OF has a pair of gold #540s available. Cheers.

A good question. I've checked with two Omega ADs in Cape Town (where I live) and gold-plated (or even full gold) 540 end links are not available.

Buy normal ones, talk to a local jeweller and it should be no problem to gold plate them in a 2 stage process. Good luck !

@Davidt Yes, that's the next option, but I would prefer to have vintage end links if possible to match the watch/bracelet. Hopefully patience will pay off eventually!
