Painted logo?

Greetings! I'm new to the forum and am trying to learn about vintage Omegas. I saw this one that has a case and movement that date to around 1949. I've never seen a logo painted with an outline design. Is this a redial or did Omega do this in the late 1940s?

I thought it was probably not original as the font was not very crisp...but considering its age, I wasn't sure. Thanks all for the input!
