I'll engrave whatever, but since it apparently also fits some Seamasters and Seikos it would be - Omega Forums Speedy, some Seamasters, some Seikos Opener - which, due to the lack of space, would make the letters very small, and who in this hobby have a magnifier.....:)

Gold weighs about 2x brass so if this is 6 ounces then the gold version would be 12 ounces and at 18k that would make it roughly 9 ounces of 24k gold. At $1200/ounce that makes the gold cost alone about $10,800 USD.

Will it work for my PloProf?

Beautiful machine work! So glad that someone designed a great opener for a specific need...but I agree with @Darlinboy, me + opening cases = bad news bears.

Well, my guess is that most of potential buyers have notiched this thread, and if all who has pm'ed me they want one, still want it when I have them ready, then 10 is sold. To get $30 off the price, so each is $60, I'll need 90 more people to order one, which I doubt is possible.......

If you have speedmasters that need safe opening via the use of this custom made opener then please just pay full price for the item! If you can afford that vintage speedmaster (s) then this is a drop in the bucket. :)

    Hi Achim,

Thanks. I'll fabricate the tools within a week or two - I'll PM you when I have them ready, then you can decide if you still want them.

    Thanks and kind regards,

Just to let you know that the work has started. Wish I had a CNC lathe as standing hours at the same spot, is really not what I enjoy most :)

As for engraving - earlier in this thread "Omega Forums Speedy Opener ++", was suggested, which is fine with me (take it the site owner don't mind). According to Marc, the tool fit other casebacks too, so the engraving could also be something like this:

    Or:

Let me know if you like any of the suggested better than the current "SPEEDY OPENER"? Milling starts tomorrow, so.......;)

And last - if all who has ordered, actually buys, then 23 tools is sold caused by OF and this thread. Thanks Marc - I'll refund you what you paid. And thanks to OF - if it's possible to set up a "donation per sold tool" to the site owner, let me know how? I've learned, and still learn, a lot from OF and its members, so if I can pay a little back through a donate option....

    Thanks,
    Paul
