I can't add much to the discussion about the questions posed, but it certainly is very nice looking imho. I would consider spending that amount on that watch very seriously. It's quite unique.
no, not me. I have mine. the price is quite easy to get: go to the original listing ( small sign to click) and go for the print option. that shows you the accepted price..... kind regards. achim
This one was around for a while some time ago IIRC and was offered much higher before being sold. My feelings then were overpriced, overpolished and ugly and my feelings now are just overpolished and ugly. I realise it is a hard watch to come by and if the dial was more evenly aged and without that triangular patch at the 9 o´ clock I would probably be just about able to accept the case back condition, but as it is now I find the dial and watch unattractive even at 3000GBP. Do you think the lume plots and hands have been touched up since the last sale? They look a bit unnatural now. I´m sure there are collectors out there who now say that it went for a bargain price, I´m just not one of them as I like my watches beautiful
This just goes to show, sometimes lowball offers get accepted. Wether you think the original price was high or not, the seller accepted a price nearly 2 grand less than he was asking. I had a similar experience with a beautiful old 5513 I was watching, the seller was asking £4995 which I thought was a little high, next thing he's sold it for £3.5. Just goes to show, don't ask don't get.
