·Hi guys
I am putting for sale this nice Charles Nicolet Tramelan chronograph, from approximately 1950.
You can find some news about this type of watches here. This is basically the previous brand of the company that after will use "Nicolet Watch" name on their dials.
Speaking about this specific example, this watch has very interesting features, to my eyes.
First of all the case, that has the perfect size of 37mm excluding crown, is all in steel and has very attractive and distinctive lugs, with very sharp angles. As you can clearly see, this case was never touched. Fixed bars are strong and still straight. External caseback is engraved with watch's reference: 144.
Original matte dial has a wonderful creamy patina on it, giving more charme to this object, matching perfectly - and giving an elegant overall look - with black and blue outer scales, and with mirror gold indexes. Gold leaf hands have some aging signs, as it should be.
Movement is a nice column-wheel Landeron 39, Nicolet-signed, fully working in all its functions. Last service is unknown.
Overall, a very charming timepiece with a modern size and interesting features, in lovely conditions. Everything in this watch is original, and I think it's an valuable option for a collector that wants an "entry-level" object to start a journey into the vintage chronographs field, as well as a nice and relatively cheap object for any other passionate collector.
My price for this nice watch is 1300€ (NOW 1200€), and I am happy to offer you free worldwide shipment.
I have many references worldwide and you can buy with total confidence. Me and watch are located in Italy.
Thank you all
Matt
