    Hello folks,

This is my new Omega oversized 1941. I don't have a pic of the inside of the back of the casenow, but it has all the right logos and info.

The crown has the Omega logo also.

I've already ordered an Omega archive from the factory, but I'm still waiting.

Do you guys think the dial is original? I've never seen one of these before...

Thanks a lot, glad to be here!

I'd say the dial is repainted, looks far too fresh for its age and compared to the case/movement condition. Minute track should be on the outside of the dial.

Still a nice watch though, enjoy it for what is is.

Sorry, really bad redial, case also shows some pretty significant wear to the lugs.

Well a $250 fare sounds fair I am fairly sure.

It sounds like a fair price I suppose if you're going to keep it and wear it.

It might be slightly tough trying to sell it.

Yes, redial. And the balance has probably been changed - should be a bimetallic balance.
    Not a bad price though.

    Sirs,

I´ve tried for the first time to adjust the watch, but I´m having some struggle to pull the crown.
Winding it´s ok, but the crown it´s not coming.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks

It may be that the inner ring moved and the crown does not enter.
Suggestion? - Try to put the ring in the correct position.

Doesn't appear to be 18kt gold, either.

Does Extract of Archives have an absolute and real meaning?
I think that experts' opinion is worth much more.

Yes it does have a real meaning, in this case it shows the watch has been recased.

It could also be argued that you're wasting your money for an extract on a $250 watch.
