(Mods, sorry in advance if this post should not be in this forum; I couldn't find an appropriate place to ask this) Hello! I am attempting to complete an overseas deal (shipping from the US to the EU). One issue I ran into is that none of the major carriers is willing to insure for the full sum of of the watch (>5K USD). For those who sell watches overseas regularly, may I have your guidance on how to proceed? Many thanks! Peter
Peter. I bought a watch from a forum member in Canada, earlier this year, and he used DHL. They insured the watch at full value c. $7,000. It wasn't cheap at something like $235, but can be done.
I would suggest you contact ParcelPro. They provide insurance for high value items such as watches and jewelry. Cheers, Al
