And this wasn't an accidental failure to disclose out of ignorance either. The seller put a thread on TRF's Omega forum when he first got the watch and he pointed out the problems with the crown and pusher in his original post. Funny how those details are left out in the ebay listing.
I was thinking of putting in a pretty low offer, but after the imput of others I think I'll leave it. Here's a couple of others I was looking at, http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/331478190968?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2648&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:ITPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/321667065082?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:ITPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network Worth making an offer on?
No way on the first one. The seller has low feedback, 3 lousy pictures, and his description is of a black-dialed automatic Speedmaster. The second one is better - at least the photos give you something to go on and the seller has good feedback. Oddly this seller calls it a "Deep Blue" which it isn't. I'm guessing if this was a no reserve auction and the seller let it run he'd get less than half his BIN price. Personally I'd pass and wait for one to come up as an auction, but that's just me!
