Dropped my po onto a tiled floor a couple of days ago from a healthy height, it kind of went in slow motion but I couldn't save it.
I had a moment of madness, I was holding it up to a light to charge the lume & it slide out of my grasp,I was scrambling for it....but missed
It thought it had completely survived but
Just noticed a couple of marks on the case when the light caught it.
I keep having flashbacks of the incident.
Seems to be keeping good time still so luckily no serious damage

whew. These stories usually end with "...and my crystal shattered", or "... and the lug snapped off". Your watch just gained some character, and you just dodged a bullet!

It's not a tool watch if it is not a little battered.

Now you know one benefit to being shorter than 5' 6"..... less height to drop your watch from = less damage. :p

Think that I may have done some damage after all ....
When I look at the back of the watch the 'balance arm' seems a little 'stiffer'than usual & I can kind of get it to balance at top dead centre ..if this makes sense...
I am by no means a watch maker so the terms I use could well be wrong.
I have compared the 'balance arm /rotor'with my Aqua terra with the same movement and this one is definitely 'stiffer'
I'm checking the time keeping which at the moment seems ok
    Any advice appreciated

Watch owners should really avoid tile floors! Seems to be a frequent culprit in watch destruction.
