Originality/Condition check on Seamaster 300 (165.024)

Hey folks

I’ve found a Seamaster 300 in an (unfortunately) very bad condition and Iam thinking about buying and restoring it. What do you guys think about the originality and the condition? To me the lume looks like repainted but beside the condition I’ve no further concerns at first glance.

Actually, since there is a date wheel, it’s a probably a 166.024.
At first glance the hands might be replacements.

I see it the same way. I would have suggested a maximum of €2000, but I don't think the seller would agree to that

You’re better off getting something in better shape. By the time you’ve invested in replacing or repairing everything you’ll have paid more. The case is rough, you’re missing half the bezel, the hands look like replacements and the dial has been relumed and/or needs to be relumed
