Ooo, I just noticed how the seller is using the hands to try and cover the wear spots on the dial :(

I am, in fact I'm currently the high bidder on that one. At first glance, the one I posted looked nicer, but upon closer inspection, I still prefer the original one I was looking at. I'm still a little concerned about that crown though...

That damage wouldn't bother me for the right price, what would bother me is the seller trying to hide it with the hands.

Perhaps, but I think you underestimate the size of the hole under the hour hand. I believe the "waffling" is missing there.

The 'swiss made' writing is under the 6 o clock marker. Is it common?

Its rather convenient where the hands managed to end up. Quite the coincidence isn't it?

That dial is NOT original to that case. The Case ref 2652 should have OMEGA printed in ink (not applied), in the first generation font style.

This one went for over 1700 and I wasn't willing to go that high. I'm so mad at myself. The seller offered it to me for 1350 outside of eBay and I decided to wait out the auction instead :( :( :(

$1350 would be about right. $1700. is a little on the high side, but it was a nice watch and a good reference. Not taking the $1350. sure thing means you didn't want as much as you think. The old, shoulda, coulda, woulda. Don't go there. If I miss out on a watch I just put it out of mind and move on. The nice thing is there is Always a great watch just around the corner.

Well I wanted to jump on the 1350 price, but I'm not willing to break my number 1 rule on ebay, "Dont do a deal outside of ebay for an item on ebay when I dont know the seller". I've been there before and it was a BIG mistake.

Please include links or pictures when you chaps are jumping about between watches, so the rest of us can keep track of them. I edited you post to include a link.

I dont think the flaws are that bad, definitely not happy about seller hiding the flaws and I won't go for this one.
