Hope you have had a lovely weekend. Would you agree with me that this "Omega" writing is original. It looks a little thicker than usual but the writing on the 2639 references were quite different and I have seen others which look like this.

The fonts on guilloche dials was always a bit different than that on "normal" flat dials.

 

The print does look a bit heavy, but it could just be the photo. Here´s my old 2619 for comparison, similar reference and period, the font and also the minute hash marks look the same to me.

 

but why is the lume at the 1 and the 11 black?!??

 

Looks OK to to me.

 

The two dials are not the same. The dials, 5 minute markers and OMEGA writing are not the same..
