Original replacement bezel insert for 396-1052 38mm

Hi there, recently I bought a 1991 pre bond sea-master it’s my first watch and I love it. Unfortunately while sailing in turkey, the bezel insert came off and went in the drink never to be seen again. I had a look and I can source an aftermarket replacement but I would really like to find an original as the top lume on the originals are recessed unlike the aftermarket ones.
Can anyone sell me one help or even just point me in the right direction. I live in London.

I imagine it would be the same as the later Seamaster 300M models in that Omega doesn’t sell the insert alone and only sells a complete bezel with insert and outer metal part as one piece for quite a bit of money. In that case it may be cheaper to find either a junk / saltwater flooded Seamaster 200M and harvesting the bezel off it or just settling for an aftermarket one.

With the Pre-Bond Omega only offer a complete case replacement. They haven’t sold the bezel separately for years which is very frustrating and why you see so many tatty examples. The harvesting option you mention may be best.

Looking at the Extranet, for the OP's case, the original bezel is discontinued, but a replacement is noted:

Information: The article 082ST0061 is not available, it was replaced by 082ST1045 STEEL BEZEL-ST3681062

Now sometimes with vintage parts, the replacement can also be discontinued, but in this case it is still available - so the part number is 082ST1045 and it can be purchased without paying for an entire case.

!!!!!! I’ve had 2 PreBonds with knackered bezels, both times I was told it was full case only but this was a few years back. this is interesting info indeed! 👍👍
