    Just when you think you're learning something, a watch comes along and catches you out!

    Thoughts on originality?

    Refinished.

    SWISS MADE is to high, the second track is off and finish should be brushed.

    Hands are replaced as well.

    Thanks for the quick reply Norm, the more I stare the more I see, just not as 'finished' as the original dials.

    Redial for sure. Looks like someone took the hardware from a Constellation dial like this:

    And a Seamaster dial like this:

    Got rid of the Arabic numbers. Then combined the rest and created a simulated pie-pan dial.

    As redials go, that's not too shabby. Wouldn't want it - was just saying it's pretty decent on the fonts.

    That first watch is a poor redial - not only are the fonts and surface finish wrong but the piepan edges have been blunted.
