The private seller of the watch claims the dial is original, but has no paperwork regarding service history or authenticity. To me the dial looks a little sketchy, especially at 12 and the "A" of Omega, the date window might also be a touch too high on the dial. Could this happen due to old age, or an optical illusion with the domed glass in the photo? What du you guys think?

Here are som more photos, also of the caseback, although I don't believe it will help much.

Movement and inside caseback photos would be important to assess the watch.
Lugs show fair amount of polish with rounded edges.
Dial looks ok, I think I can see some ridgelines on markers to indicate onyx, but not 100% sure.

I'm not seeing any obvious problems with the dial, maybe some minor aging, but better than most. The lugs aren't great, but not terrible considering that it's gold-capped. And the medallion looks pretty good. Overall it's not a bad example based on a few photos. I think I'd probably be looking closely at the case to decide whether it would make me happy or not.
