    Clearly a refinish and the seller actually says so in the description. Even the calendar hand is not original.

    Ah, right, thanks. I missed the numerical rating scale and saw only "original dial" in the description. A bit misleading.

    I missed it too - where was it? The "condition" of 2 seems to mean "slightly worn". In the description it says "original silvered dial with baton index" as Lou mentioned.

    Dennis, it says Dial 2. Down the bottom under dial, 1 is original, 2 means repainted. I agree its very misleading.
