Hello,

I have been browsing for a while now to learn more about the origin of this watch and the originality of it: i've inherited it from my grandpa and it originally came with another strap of which I knew was not original as well. The story is that he had it forever, it was bought in the Netherlands before buying another new Seamaster around 1995. Does anyone know more about the model and if it is original? The glass is plexiglas I think. It looks it's missing some metal around the luminous dot as well. I've had it serviced around 2000 I think, had a sharkskin strap for ages and now looking for a nice NATO strap.
