I’ve got quite a few orange Omega hands. I’m not sure what the refs are. Probably flightmaster and maybe some others. Do you know the exact dimensions, and have a picture of the watch ?

Hi, that's great, fingers crossed! The watch is 35mm diameter (166.038 case), here's a pic of what the hand should look like:

Sadly, no. I would guess roughly 13mm length, but no idea of the tube diameter.

On Ranfft the tube should be 0.18mm.

I’ve found a pretty good match but need to find my gauge for the tube. It’s definitely an Omega hand, but it’s not NOS. Rough measurement is 13.5mm tube to tip, and 17.5mm tail to tip.

So here’s a scaled picture. I took a photo of the hand next to a ruler, and over layered it onto your picture with it scaled according to a 35mm case diameter. Then put the hands next to each other. I’d say they’re a pretty solid match. Mine appears to be slightly narrower, but it was probably tilted over because of the tube and that might be the reason.

Fantastic, looks pretty spot-on to me!

I realized last night that my Bergeon gauge only goes down 0.30 so I don’t see a way to check the tube. I could try and find a loose movement with a 0.18 post and see if it fits, but I’m not a watchmaker and it might be easy to damage the hand trying to fit and remove it.

OK... I just checked again now there’s daylight and the tube looks really short. I put it next to a drop tail sweep for comparison. I have no idea how long the tube should be on this. Maybe @Archer could suggest if this tube is correct and/or useable, or whether it’s fit for the bin.

Usually, the tube is short on 56x sweep hands, but ymmv.
