Stumbled upon this video on reddit just now, /investing and this looked really bad.

Hope no one is caught in this and remember to be careful with your investing.

Also, if you did lose everything; there's always hope. Reach out and speak to anyone; PM me if you need to.

Also, apparently it isn't a real hedge fund; seems like a shady business. Still 290 clients apparently lost all their money and have negative balances.

I watched enough of that video to believe the end of it would be him walking out to a window ledge......

Maybe he shouldn't have been drinking and checking on the markets. Quote "Took my laptop while sipping a glass of wine and checked the markets to make sure they were ok." Didn't he know that a BUI is a serious offense.

Yep. Makes you wonder if he lost everything, too, or if his investments were diversified and he just lost everything in his fund (i.e. other peoples' money). He might be in good shape financially... personally.

I'm hoping none of his investors were all-in on this fund.

But he has a fancy looking watch, it must have been some market anomaly that wiped the fund out. Guys with fancy watches are never wrong.

Clearly, they forgot the Cardinal Rule, of being a ‘Hedge Fund’

They simply did not ‘hedge’ / spread the bet

    Not exactly Rocket Science…

That is a pretty scary thing. Give someone a million dollars, and then end up owing them another million dollars. However, they seemed to be pretty straightforward with their strategy, being named OptionSellers.com, so hopefully their investors were aware of the risks
