Bought this gold-plated SM on a whim. Seller claims original unaltered dial, hands and crystal. A bit polished, but it looked ok to me. Wanted to see if anyone here sees anything I may have missed while I am still in the return period.

Looks the part - a great buy. You could wish for a less thorough polishing, but still a very nice watch to wear and enjoy. Dial and hands look original, rotor and case back without rub marks. Congrats.

Looks good, nice watch, but shouldn't the crown be more flat?

Thanks! All these sellers seem to think polishing will increase the marketability of their watches. Its getting very difficult to find unpolished pieces. Still, I look forward to wearing this one.

As in narrow? I believe it is the original crown...

So perhaps not the original crown...thank you, I can see the difference clearly.
