I hope I am learning some as I look at Omega watches everyday now. Am I right in seeing that this watch is over polished? http://www.ebay.com/itm/161276237437?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
This seems to be the incorrect movement for this case reference...according to OVDB a cal. 351/354 bumper would be correct. Along with an over-polished case I'd be weary.
I'm not sure how easy it is to describe in words, but can you describe how you know that the case is over-polished? I'm in a similar boat, looking at watches everyday, and I definitely struggle in identifying an over-polished case. Thanks!
While not the exact case reference as the watch in OPs post, you want to see distinct bevels on the bezel and lugs.
Thanks, but I had no plan to buy. I just wanted to verify that my observations of condition are getting better. And thank you X350 XJR for exact information of what to look for.
